Carnation Farmers Market (CFM) is an independent nonprofit organization run by local volunteers. In 2023 CFM celebrates our 20th season by connecting local eaters with local farmers, while also serving an enriching menu of homegrown music, fun and educational activities, and other cultural & community programming. As the smallest city in King County with a farmers market,
we create an inclusive and welcoming community hub where residents of Carnation and the Snoqualmie Valley gather with local farmers, community groups, musicians, artists, friends, and neighbors.
In 2020 and 2021, volunteers re-established Carnation Farmers Market as an independent 501(c)(3) charitable and educational nonprofit, after more than a decade of Sno-Valley Tilth leadership. Thanks to loyal shoppers and strong community support, Carnation Farmers Market has continued to thrive as a
safe and reliable venue to buy food and connect with neighbors.
We, the founding Board of Directors, are shoppers, just like you, and we work hard all year long to provide this essential service. Carnation Farmers Market owes its existence to the relationships that were carefully cultivated over the years by many caring and dedicated volunteers and market managers.
To keep the Market thriving, we need shoppers like you to keep showing up every week to support our local farmers and vendors. We also depend on the ongoing support of volunteers, donors, sponsors, grant funders, and community partners to staff the Market, provide enriching programming, and cover basic operating expenses.
