Cascade Township July 4th Celebration

Join us for our annual Cascade Township July 4th Celebration! This year's event takes place Monday, July 4 with activities all day outside at the Kent District Library – Cascade Branch.

Schedule of events:

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. – Book sale

10-11 a.m. – Parades. The bike parade begins at 10 a.m., with a community parade immediately following. The route starts at the intersection of Cascade Road and Burton Street and ends at the intersection of 28th Street and Thornhills Avenue.

Bike parade – Participants should arrive at 8:30 a.m. at the Cascade Fellowship Christian Reformed Church, 6655 Cascade Road SE.
Community parade – Participants should arrive at 8:30 a.m. at the Thornapple Covenant Church, 6595 Cascade Road SE.

11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. – Games, rides, and music

Dusk Fireworks. The celebration will end with a joint fireworks show with Ada Township. The show can be viewed from any location in downtown Ada or at Legacy Park, 7430 River St. SE.
