Down a River Down a Beer 2023

Down A River Down A Beer 2023 (DARDAB) began in 2014 with husband and wife Cheryl and Jim having a conversation over a beer! No surprise there!  They had hosted several small beer events in their community and had attended several large beer festivals.  They thought maybe they should have a beer festival in Piqua.  “You know what we could do . . . “ is a common phrase to open the door to ideas.  DARDAB has grown to include 99 craft beers, river events, music, food, and River Fire Rings.

DARDAB centers around the popularity of craft beer, bike trails, the Great Miami River, and getting together with friends.  All the proceeds from DARDAB have gone to promoting our exceptional river and bike trail systems, and thus far we have contributed nearly $25,000 to organizations such as Protecting Our Water Ways (POWW), Edison State Community College and Upper Valley Career Center.

They have been very fortunate to have great support in our town in the form of sponsorships, volunteers and exciting river activities.  We look forward to seeing you at DARDAB this year.
