Okanogan Valley Farmers Market

The Okanogan Valley Farmers Market began over twenty years ago with a few local people gathering informally to share the bounty from their farms and gardens.  Today, the market contains a vibrant mix of fruits, vegetables, baked goods, beauty products, and crafts from local artisans.

The Market is governed by a Board of Directors, whose primary goal is to establish policies and procedures to insure that the organization complies with all appropriate local, state, and federal laws and to create a lasting, sustainable market.  The Board consists of farmers, vendors, crafters and community members to offer diverse and impartial management.  Members are chosen by nomination and consensus of the Board, with subsequent approval by a vote of registered vendors at the general meeting.  All Board members volunteer their time to the market.

Markets:
SATURDAYS IN OKANOGAN:  9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Legion Park on 2nd Avenue North in Okanogan.  (May through October)

The mission of the Okanogan Valley Farmers Market is to enhance the business success of the Okanogan Valley’s small farms and residents by operating a vibrant farmers’ market that will serve as a community gathering place and foster local small businesses.
