Celebrate Rhubarb, Minnesota's sweet-tart favorite at the RHUBARB FESTIVAL. Free tasting of rhubarb delights, games, music and entertainment in Lanesboro - The Rhubarb Capital of Minnesota!

We are very excited to announce the return of the long-missed Rhubarb Tasting Event!!!!! Starting at 10:30 A.M. til 12:00 P.M. This event had long been the staple of Rhubarb Festival, until Covid-19 wrecked the party. It's back, so let the competition begin. Do you have a great rhubarb recipe you believe is award winning? Do you enjoy tasting a smorgasbord of delicious treats? Come on out to Rhubarb Festival, enjoy the games and vendors, and take part in the RHUBARB TASTING EVENT and vote on your favorites. Prizes will be awarded at 12:30 P.M.

There will be a strong focus on entertainment, and most of your favorite vendors will return. We are proud to announce this year the Rhubarb Run is returning. The heart of the festival takes place in Sylvan Park in downtown Lanesboro. Start by browsing the Lanesboro Farmers Market where you'll find all the in-season spring vegetables and other local delights. Then enjoy the fun-filled festival entertainment and food, plus try your hand at the free rhubarb games and contests. Great prizes for all events! Stay in town and check out our local merchants, and all the town has to offer.

Other free entertainment includes a Rhubarb Fashion Show (you can be in it), goat chill out (hang out nearby and be entertained watching the *kids*), and Rhub-Art opportunities. Music fills the park the entire day so bring your lawn chair and enjoy it all! This year music is provided by a variety of local rhubarb-lovin' musicians. Vendors provide opportunities to purchase additional rhubarb treats and products.
