Thunder in the Valley

This year's Thunder in the Valley will be held on Thursday, June 22nd thru Sunday, June 25th, 2023 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

This motorcycle rally is held annually the fourth weekend in June, where the city of Johnstown rolls out the welcome wagon in order to provide a number of events and activities that are biker-friendly and enjoyed by everyone! Many of the streets in the downtown area are designated for motorcycle-only parking, and there are scenic rides through the Allegheny Mountain range, a large number of vendors in four different areas selling leather goods, jewelry, clothes, helmets and accessories. There's also live entertainment with bands playing rock, oldies, country, blues and even jazz - something for everyone!

This rally brings about the participation of several motorcycle manufacturers who also host their own events @ their dealership during the rally. Enjoy the scenic routes, and come early to check out the tourist areas and attractions like the Johnstown Flood Museum, The Inclined Plane which appears in the Guinness Book of World Records, and the Heritage Discovery Center, Johnstown's newest museum which tells the story of immigrants who passed through Ellis Island and settled Johnstown.
