Vashon Island Farmers Market! The Vashon Island Growers Association (VIGA) began in the 1980s with a desire to create on-island jobs in farming. What started as a small Farmer’s Market near the Post Office has grown into a multi-faceted organization that supports the full spectrum of island agriculture.

VIGA is also proud to feature local artisans and musicians at the Market.

The Farmers Market provides shoppers with a number of alternative currencies to ensure that island grown and produced food is available to all islanders, regardless of income. These include VIGA Farm Bucks, EBT tokens and SNAP Market Match Bucks.
